VideoToPrompt ("we", "us", "our") operates the website videotoprompt.app and related services (the "Service"), which analyze video and image content to generate text prompts for AI video and image models. 1. Account Information: Name, email address, and authentication identifiers (e.g., Google OAuth sub) that you provide when signing up.
2. Uploaded Content: Videos, images, and text you upload or submit to the Service for prompt generation.
3. Generated Content: The prompts and derived outputs produced from your uploads, together with the history associated with your account.
4. Usage Data: Feature interactions, generation counts, credit balance, and request metadata used to operate the product and enforce plan limits.
5. Device & Log Data: IP address, browser type, operating system, and request timestamps, collected via standard server logs.
6. Payment Information: When you purchase credits, our payment processor (Creem) handles card details. We only receive a transaction reference, the purchased product, amount, and status. We do not store card numbers.
7. Cookies: Session cookies for authentication and a minimal set of analytics cookies used to measure aggregate product usage.

How We Use Your Information

• To provide the Service: authenticate you, run prompt generation, show your history, apply plan limits.
• To process payments and grant credits on successful purchases.

Uploaded Content

• You retain ownership of content you upload.

• We do not use your uploads to train third-party AI models. Some generation steps call third-party AI APIs (e.g., Google Gemini, OpenAI); those providers process the content under their own terms and do not receive account-identifying data from us beyond what is strictly required for the API call.
• You can delete generated history from your account at any time.

Sharing & Disclosure

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with:

• Infrastructure providers (hosting, database, object storage) strictly as needed to run the Service.
• Payment processor (Creem) to handle purchases.
• AI model providers for the minimum content required to generate your prompt.
• Authorities when legally compelled, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of users or the public.

Data Retention

• Account data: kept while your account is active.
• Uploads and generated history: kept until you delete them or close your account.
• Payment records: retained as required by applicable tax and accounting law.
• Server logs: rotated on a rolling basis, typically within 90 days.

Security

We use TLS in transit, access controls, and restricted service credentials. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; you use the Service at your own risk.

Your Rights
